Music Box

Music is life
When it is good
it is really good,
When it is bad,
it is really bad.
Music is love
But won't get you a date,
Music heals
but cannot save,
Music is food
But it can't fill you up,
Music is feeling,
We write music to express,
We play music so we don't have to be lonely
Music is a drug,
We become high, because music takes us away from life.
We come down, we become sad, because are back in the world.
Music is necessary,
It reminds us that there is something good on the inside.
Music reminds us that we are not lost,
We are the conductor's of our lives,
and how we interpret the notes dictates
the sound of our symphony

Heehee. I like it. Some parts were humorous, and worked well, and others were suddenly deep and interesting. My fave lines:

"Music heals/but cannot save" and
"Music reminds us that we are not lost,/We are the conductors of our lives". Nice work!

Bravo, Andrew! I really like your analogies in this.."music is love but it won't get you a date", very creative!

I really really liked this. It was interesting how you expressed that we all find one thing to be something so completely different.

You did a really good job showing how similar music is to life.
