serious? ... nah

While I like everyones approach to writing about music... all the poems are relatively serious. Here is my approach to writing about music, comically.

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Think that line is cliché?
Too bad… it makes me want to say “YAY”

This line I will use,
To the point of abuse.

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Music is sweet,
And Bach is too!

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Music can make you happy,
On the way to the zoo!

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Bad music sometimes makes me,
Want to eat glue!

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Sometimes when you’re feeling bad,
Music can give you a clue!

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Don’t have an open mind?
Music presents a different view.

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Everyone can listen to music,
Including the you!

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
My friends like music,
Their names are Sue, Hugh and Lou

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
If a certain song gets old,
Listen to something new!

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
This poem is over,
Now you can say whew!

hey, i like your approach. we needed some playful words. i think the roses are red, violets are blue thing wears out, but like i said, it's really nice to read something happy every now and then.

kudos on your rhyming abilities. Even though you were trying to be witty about it, your poem still has a meaning, and I like that.
